Our Services
Your First Visit
We'd like to take this opportunity for you to get acquainted with our doctors and staff. We will discuss with you any concerns that you may have regarding dental health. We will also ask you to provide us with a complete medical and dental health history. Your initial exam will consist of a complete clinical exam, head and neck exam, and an oral cancer exam. A periodontal evaluation will be conducted. Early detection of periodontal disease is critical. X-rays will be taken to provide us with the information which we will require in providing you with a complete and accurate diagnosis.
Appointments
We will make every effort to schedule your appointments as compatibly with your personal schedule as possible. In consideration of all our patients, a minimum of 24 hours notice of change is required.
State-of-the-Art Preventive and Restorative Care
From young children to seniors, we are very patient-oriented and compassionate in our procedures. Achieving a permanent smile requires a team effort between patient, hygienist and doctor. Periodic examinations are very important to achieve a healthy smile. Our trained hygienists offer the most sophisticated and technologically advanced treatment and maintenance programs available.
Porcelain Fillings
When cavities do occur, most cases require a filling. We exercise the most gentle and sophisticated procedures possible in providing our patients with fillings. Our fillings are available in either porcelain or tooth-colored resin. Continual monitoring of existing fillings is important as they are not always a permanent solution to decay. Our philosophy is one of continual monitoring to avoid future complications.

Implant Reconstruction
An effective alternative to missing teeth. Technological advances in the science of dentistry have made possible this surgical process providing patients with a permanent replacement for missing teeth. We will examine, diagnose and evaluate your particular case to determine if dental implants are a solution for you.
Bonding
Bonding is the freehand application of tooth-colored resin to teeth to eliminate unsightly gaps between teeth, change the shape of teeth and to remove spots and stains to make your teeth whiter.
Bleaching
The bleaching of teeth is a popular and very successful method of whitening and brightening existing teeth. A special bleach is applied directly to the tooth or teeth to enhance your smile. We will evaluate the level of whitening that is appropriate for your individual smile.
Fixed and Removable Prosthetics
The development of a prosthesis such as a bridge is a very common procedure for replacing decayed and missing teeth. Replacing teeth with this procedure can be permanent (nonremovable) or removable. Your doctors will discuss with you the applications and procedures involved with both.
Full and Partial Dentures
We offer comprehensive services for the fabrication of full and partial dentures.
Sealants
Sealants are a wonderful way to safeguard against decay. Applied usually between the ages of 6 to 13, sealants can eliminate decay on the biting surface of the teeth. For best results sealants should be applied as soon as permanent back teeth become functional. We recommend sealants for most of our young patients.
Oral Hygiene Maintenance
Proper oral hygiene and maintenance are vital to a healthy smile. Our staff of trained hygienists are among the elite in the profession. Their expert care and concern are reflected in the positive results our patients receive. During your first visit, we will explain our hygiene procedures and treatment programs. Again, we stress team effort!
Nonsurgical Periodontal Treatment
We offer thorough, conservative periodontal management programs. Although some patients may require surgery to correct problem gums, we always consider the alternatives that are available to you.
Porcelain Crowns, Caps, Inlays and Onlays
When tooth decay requires treatment beyond the scope of fillings, a crown or cap is usually the answer. Prostheses such as these are available in porcelain or gold. Our doctor will examine your case and consult with you as to which option is best for you. We will consider the location of the tooth, your preference, costs and functional stresses.
Smile Enhancement
As innovators in cosmetic dentistry we offer a full range of cosmetic services including veneers, bleaching, bonding and crowns.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are aesthetically pleasing, natural looking and durable. Veneers, which normally require a slight reduction of enamel, are bonded to the tooth to assure a permanent fix. We also offer composite veneers and freehand bonding to help you have the smile you've always wanted.
Our Infection Control Program
To protect your health and in keeping with the guidelines established by the American Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control, we have always maintained the highest standards of infection control in our practice.
You may have noticed some different things which are designed to protect against the transmission of diseases and also to help prevent spread of the common cold. During all patient treatments, we wear protective glasses, masks, and gloves. These are called "barrier techniques" and they are an important part of our program to safeguard your health.
There are many parts of our program you don't see, but which play an integral role in our attempt to provide the safest health care environment possible for you and all our patients. These include the use of:
- Barrier techniques used on critical work surfaces to prevent the possible spread of contamination.
- Approved hospital-grade disinfectant to thoroughly scrub and sanitize treatment room surfaces between patients.
- Disposable products are used whenever possible; these items are discarded after a single use.
- Heat sterilization--the kind of sterilization hospitals use--of all patient care instruments.
We will continue keeping up-to-date with the latest recommendations and guidelines for infection control in our practice and will make any additional changes necessary to assure the safety and good health of you and our patients.
Yes, these added precautions do require extra time and effort--but you're worth it! Your health and well-being is our primary concern. If you have any questions about our infection control program, please ask the doctor or any of our staff members. We'll be happy to discuss it with you!
